Wedding Cake Topper with Swans, 1950s

Classic 1950s Wedding Cake Topper Set.

This set features four swans with pillars and two cake support discs. The photo shows one way the set can be assembled, but there may be other ways to be creative with the swans and cake supports.  Made of a creamy off-white plastic, each swan measures approximately 4 1/4" tall by 2 1/2" front to back by 1 1/8" wide. The cake holders are approximately 6" in diameter.

Wedding cakes assembled with kits such as these were quite common throughout the middle years of the 20th century.  Ideal for a truly mid-century wedding vibe!
