WHAT DOES "VINTAGE" MEAN AT THE VINTAGE KITCHEN & GARDEN?

We follow the standard definition of vintage vs. antique. Vintage is typically considered to be anything 20 years old or older up to 99 years old. At 100 years old, an object is considerd to be antique. We provide age information in the description of each of our carefully curated offerings which can be a precise date, a decade range, or a circa date, meaning an approximate date.

WHEN DO YOU ADD NEW INVENTORY?

We add new objects to our curated collection every week, Sign up for our newsletter and blog to get notifications about the latest additions to the shop, or follow us on Instagram (@thevintagekitchenandgarden) and Pinterest.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAPPING SERVICES?

Each item is wrapped carefully for safe shipment, so an item may arrive in bubble wrap, packing peanuts, cardboard, or paper. We are happy to provide special gift wrapping for an additional fee, so please send a note before purchase and we can adjust your invoice accordingly.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

The objects in our collection are varied in size and weight. This is particularly true for ceramic pieces, which also require special packing materials. As a result, we calculate shipping based on weight and package size for each item sold with a minimum set rate for all items under one pound.

WHAT SHIPPING SERVICE DO YOU USE? MAY I REQUEST SPECIAL SHIPPING SERVICES?

We typically ship via USPS (United States Postal Service), but sometimes, especially with multiple pieces of pottery or china, other shipping options. like UPS Ground, are less expensive. We make every effort to ship as quickly, but inexpensively as possible. If you have any questions about shipping or require expedited or overnight shipping, Please send a message and we can discuss options.

HOW QUICKLY WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED ONCE I PURCHASE AN ITEM?

We package and ship items within two days of purchase unless otherwise noted.

IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED IN THE MAIL, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

All items are carefully packed by us to ensure safe transport and arrival. Each item is insured for its purchase price. We cannot assume responsibility for damage that may happen after we give a package to the shipper (USPS or UPS). If damage occurs while in transit please contact your local USPS post office or UPS store to file a claim.

ARE ALL SALES FINAL?

Yes. Each item we sell is one-of-a-kind with its own special history. Once you receive an object from our curated collection, it is yours to love and cherish while writing the newest chapter in its story.
