Pig in the Garden, A Schaper Party Game for Tiny Tots.
"The first player to grow his complete garden wins the game."
What better way to teach children about vegetable gardening? This delightful game for four players features a plastic piggy who wants to eat the labors of each gardeners hard efforts! Plastic vegetables include corn, squash, tomatoes, celery, beets, pumpkins, lettuce, and carrots. A garden is completely grown when all twelve sections of the gardener's card contains a vegetable.
Circa 1950s early edition of this game with great mid-century graphics and colors. "If the pig in the garden eats up your dinner - get rid of him fast or you can't be the winner!"
It is apparent that this game was well-loved but carefully cared for. The box has spotting and wear at the corners. The game is missing a couple of vegetables, but this will not affect play. All of the gardener player pieces and game cards are included as is the game board, two spinners, forty-two vegetables, and the eponymous piggy.
While designed for "tiny tots", Pig in the Garden will be fun for gardeners of all age. It is a timeless, classic family favorite!
