"Prepared to meet the large and ever increasing demand for a guide to wholesome and palatable home cooking," the New Royal Cook Book was published by the Royal Baking Powder Company to give the "young housewife" complete and simple directions for making "delicious cakes and other culinary delights."  The majority of recipes in this 50-page cookbook are for baked goods such as cakes, muffins, rolls, biscuits, and griddle cakes.  But, there are other recipes for meats, vegetables, and soups that require a leavening agent (baking powder) as wholesome as Royal!

Measuring approximately 5" x 8", the New Royal Cook Book is filled with numerous claims of purity and economy.  Our favorite endorsements though, come in the form of references to the prominent chefs and expert bakers from famous restaurants in New York Chicago, and San Francisco who consider Royal Baking Powder "the most reliable, most efficient and the most dependable leavening agent."
