Fluted Czechoslovakian Vase, Hand-painted with Flowers and Leaves, 1920s.

This beautiful ceramic vase was painted in Czechoslovakia just after the country declared independence from Austria-Hungary.  The lovely traditional folk-style, often referred to as peasant art, depicts poppy-style flowers atop an overall leafy background.  

Charmingly perfect for any season, this vase measures approximately 5" tall x 7 1/2" across the fluted top and will add a bit of European style to any room!
