Floral Ceramic Cake/Pie Server with Decorative Handle

Throughout the early and middle years of the 20th century, ceramic pie or cake servers such as this were manufactured in Europe and the United States for everyday use.  This example, with the manufacturer's mark on the back, measures approximately 10" long and was well-loved as evidenced by the light crazing overall.  Imagine the many cakes and pies that were served with this piece during holidays and family dinners. These servers were decorated to add a bit of elegance and celebration to serving a piece of pie or a slice of cake.
