Crocheted potholder or hot pads, as they were sometimes called, were all the rage in the middle years of the 20th century with patterns ranging from floral, fruit, and vegetable themes to hearts and geometric patterns.  Often circular shape, many homes in America had versions of these in their kitchen.

This adorable pair is inspired by the garden, with the buttercups measuring approximately 5 5/8" in diameter and the grapes measuring slightly larger at approximately 6 1/8".  The vibrant colors and charming design will brighten any kitchen while being practical too!
